We have a couple of hours to go until our shuttle arrives at 3:15 AM. Julien is rocking out to some Kamelot. I'm dead tired.
I read Greta to sleep a few hours ago. Rachel passed out getting Henry to sleep. I'd like to get a nap in, but I'm afraid I'll wake up to an annoyed driver laying on his horn.
Got the garage somewhat straightened up in expectation of some work being done on the house while we're away. Thanks Troy!
Julien and I are traveling light; one backpack and manbag each. I feel like I have too much spare room in these bags. I must be forgetting something.
No toiletries in there, yet. Buying toothpaste and deodorant in Italy might be my first cultural exchange. Thanks for the point it book Liza!
I didn't practice any basic Italian, and I don't have a phrase book, but I plan on diving in there and giving it my best. Hopefully I'm like Antonio Banderas in The 13th Warrior and I can just pick up the language by joining a band of vikings, or in our case, an Italian taxi driver.
C'e stato un incidente!
